It’s not all raindrops on roses and whiskers on kittens
I’ve just read on interesting account from Melissa Maples about a not so rosy Goenka vipassana retreat in the wilds of turkey: little and poor food, creepy badly functioning hotel, creepy crowd of people and topped off with a little sleep deprivation. Good to get some balance on my experience although I can sympathise with the feelings of being in a cult – it’s definitely all a bit wierd at times.
