I throught I’d make the most of the glorious weather and go for a stomp/board in Long Wood today. I ended up at Hob’s Garden and took a look at the new roundhouse that’s been built up there.

Very impressive. It was built under the guiding hand of Tony Wrench of ‘that roundhouse‘ fame. I’ve seen another one he did at Denmark Farm and he does a very tidy job. It’s really enhanced an already idylic spot hidden away in the wood. I spent a very pleasant afternoon chasing the sunny patches around the glade to find a warm spot to read in.
